Hello Folks,
These are certainly challenging times! Living in rural Eaton County we don’t see the full extent of the health crisis. Sandy and I are trying to stay hunkered down, staying on our own place. Not just for our own health, but to do our part in slowing the spread of this terrible disease. What sets this virus apart from the common flu is how contagious it is. Couple that with the fact that you can be carrying the virus with no outward signs, but still capable of spreading the virus to others who are more susceptible to the disease.
This weekend we have initiated two Facebook groups. One is for Kalamo Church folks and the other for the larger Kalamo Community. our goal is to provide a means for people to stay somewhat more connected in a time of isolation and social distancing.
Let us know what you think. Share ideas on how we can be neighbor to each other. More than anything – stay safe and stay healthy!
Peace and blessings!
Pastor Jerry
